About the kennel
The kennel "Zheneveva" was officially registered in the FCI in 2001, but in fact everything began much earlier. I purchased the first dog Nura in 1992 at a well-bred puppy show. As a matter of fact, from the outset she was bought to be a pet, and she still lives in my home as a valued friend. As frequently happens, I realized very soon that she was not going to be a champion. When I came to that realization, I became to look for a show American Cocker. I visited shows and contacted breeders with a view to choosing parents for my future dogs. In this way Chipa came into my home in 1996 - a black bitch Zhofrua Zhasmin Zheneveva Zhavu, called by the name of her grandma Zhenechka - also Zhenevjeva.
Among all the possibilities, why did I choose an American Cocker Spaniel and a black bitch? I have always been fascinated with compact, well-set dogs with a jolly temper and an expressive face. So I set on this breed a long time ago and have never changed my mind. The difficulties in caring for this breed don't intimidate me at all, although it's hard to call them "difficulties," because taking care of loving dogs is always a pleasure. In my eyes, black dogs are very striking, and indeed I was immediately attracted to Fanya (Invincible iz Fantasy, owner J. Klementeva), who was destined to be Chipa's mother. I very much wanted a dog who would look like her. Chipa ultimately became the founder of the kennel, now called by her name: the kennel of American Cocker Spaniels "Zheneveva". She is not only a bright show dog and a wonderful brood bitch, but also an intelligent home dog and a member of the family. Thank you so much, Julia, for this dog.
Besides it, Chipa was a wonderful brood bitch. We got litters by her 4 times A lot of her children live in show-homes and make us happy with it’s success. Her last litters were born at September 2003. Unfortunately, Chipa is not with us, but her memory will be with us forever. I will not tire you with details. All info you can find at “Dogs” page.
